2 Mistakes To Avoid During The Police Oral Board Interview
Not Showing Up On Time
1. Arriving late to the police oral board interview is a no..no. This is probably the worst mistake that you can ever make during a job interview, but it's especially looked down upon when you're trying to become a cop. Trust me, if you show up to the oral board exam late, you might as well stroll back home. The percentage of you getting the job is less than 2 percent.
Showing A Lack Of Interest In The Position
Showing little to no interest in the position will come back and bite you. There have been way too many interviews where the panel felt like they were inconveniencing the applicant during the oral board interview. By sending off a message thant you are just looking for work, and a paycheck will definitely hurt your chances of being offered the position. This type of behavior coming from the applicant is a serious indicator thant they are not a team player and subsequently will need a lot of supervision in order to complete their work correctly.
